What is Tarot?

Tarot cards were originally invented as a card game.

• During the 1300’s in Italy Tarot was played as a game and as time progressed more cards, imagery, and symbology were added until the 1700’s where French mystics incorporated it into divination practices. It wasn’t until 1909 with the now famous Rider-Waite Tarot Deck, that Tarot became a mainstay of divination and spiritual practices.

  So what’s divination? Divination is the practice of divining an answer out of chaos.

• It has been used for millennia by shaman, mystics, oracles, witches, wizards and sages to connect with our own inner intelligence or the universal intelligence.
